The Arlberg Giro is one of Austria’s most renowned cycling marathons, attracting ambitious road cyclists from all over the world year after year. Its varied route takes riders across legendary Alpine passes, through spectacular valleys and past some of the most impressive mountain scenery in Tyrol and Vorarlberg.
Covering 150 kilometres and 2,500 metres of elevation, the Arlberg Giro combines a true sporting challenge with an unforgettable experience in the Alps. The race starts and finishes in the heart of St. Anton am Arlberg – the cradle of Alpine skiing and one of Europe’s leading mountain sports destinations.

Registration for the 2027 Arlberg Giro opens on 15 September 2026.
Road Cycling Weekend in St. Anton am Arlberg
St. Anton Night Sprint
Over the past two years, the Night Sprint has become one of the highlights of the race weekend, kicking off the action on Friday evening.
From 15 September, you can register for the sprint through St. Anton’s pedestrian zone – whether you are taking part in the Arlberg Giro or not.
Supporting Programme & Expo Area
During the Arlberg Giro weekend, St. Anton am Arlberg becomes a meeting place for the international road cycling community. The Expo Area, side events and shared activities offer plenty of opportunities to meet fellow cycling enthusiasts and celebrate a shared passion for road cycling.
