Disciplines and Race Routes
The WPCC 2023, as well as the NEW MEDIA CHAMPIONSHIPS will be held in three disciplines.
Individual Time Trials
Friday 28.07.2023 at 14:00 hrs
Starting in the small village of Schnann, around 10 kilometres from St. Anton am Arlberg, the route leads along Stanzertal cycle path, past the villages of Pettneu and St. Jakob am Arlberg directly to St. Anton. After an approximately half-hour ride, the finish awaits participants directly in the pedestrian zone in the centre of St. Anton am Arlberg.
Saturday, 29.07.2023 at 14:00 hrs
Saturday’s programme will be short, but nonetheless demanding as the 300 m sprint will take place in the lively pedestrian zone in St. Anton am Arlberg. Participants can sample their first taste of victory here on Saturday, at the original marathon entrance.
Marathon M1 & M2 & New Media

The start for the men's M1/M2 and all New Media representatives is in Partenen in Vorarlberg. All participants will be brought to the starting area by bus from St. Anton in the early hours of the morning. Participants can look forward to surmounting the Silvretta High Alpine Road right at the start, whereby its breathtaking mountain scenery should more than compensate for the effort required. The route then leads through Paznaun Valley back to St. Anton am Arlberg, where the finish line awaits participants again in the pedestrian zone.
Marathon M3 Men and Women

The start of the M3 men and Women’s race takes place in the breathtaking mountain scenery of Madlenerhaus at almost 1960m. Here, too, participants will be brought to the starting area by bus from St. Anton. After the start, the route then takes participants over the Bielerhöhe, through the Paznaun Valley and back to St. Anton am Arlberg, where they will be warmly welcomed by the fans in the pedestrian zone.
